Action: 

To nourish the Yin and to moisten the lungs. To stop coughing and dissolve the mucus due to too much heat (yellow or green-coloured mucus). Also strengthens the energy (Qi) of the lungs. 

Indications 

Lung deficiency accompanied by coughing and rapid breathing. Kidneys no longer receive the Qi. Exhaustion of lungs due to Yin deficiency with coughing and blood expectoration. Dryness of lungs (Qiu Zao). Damage to body fluids of lungs and stomach. Coughing with loss of voice. 

Treatment 

Can be used for "bleeders" in preparation before races, up to one month in advance. It is recommended to use one packet per day and to mix it in with night feed. Can be used in combination with other formulas just before racing. The formulas do not show in testing.

Xuan Shen, Dang Gui, Bai Shao, Gan Cao, Jie Geng.
